This Privacy Policy explains how Paxuni (“Paxuni,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information collected through this website. Paxuni is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Southern Virginia University.
Information we collect
The only personal information we collect is what you choose to give us when you join the waitlist:
- Your email address
- Your major (area of study)
We do not ask for passwords, payment information, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information, and we do not knowingly collect more than the two fields above.
How we use it
We use your email address and major only to:
- Contact you about Paxuni’s launch and the founding community at your campus.
- Understand which areas of study are interested, so we can plan the launch.
We rely on your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see “Your choices” below).
How we share it
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except:
- Service providers that help us operate the waitlist (for example, email or form-storage providers), who may only process it on our behalf.
- Where required by law, or to protect our legal rights.
Cookies & tracking
This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add basic analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.
Retention
We keep your email and major until Paxuni launches at your campus or until you ask us to remove them — whichever comes first — after which we delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us to access or delete the information you gave us at any time by emailing paxuni.official@gmail.com. Every email we send will also include a way to unsubscribe.
Children
Paxuni is intended for college students and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy as Paxuni grows. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
